What happens on moving day
We arrive at the agreed time, usually first thing, so you're settled in your new place by the afternoon. Before anything is lifted we walk the property with you, agree what's going and what's staying, and plan the load order so heavy furniture goes in first and boxes fill the gaps.
Everything is loaded by us. Sofas, beds, wardrobes and white goods are blanket-wrapped and strapped to the van's tie-down points so nothing shifts on the M606. At the other end we unload straight to the room you point at, not a pile in the hallway, and reassemble anything we took apart.

Why book a man with a van instead of a removal company?
Traditional removal firms quote for a crew, a lorry and a survey. That's the right answer for a five-bedroom detached house. For everyone else it's expensive and inflexible. A man with a van gives you the same care with a lot less overhead, one experienced driver who loads properly, a van sized for the job, and pricing that reflects a few hours' work rather than a day-long production.
You also get flexibility. Need to squeeze in a trip to the tip or a stop at your parents' garage on the way? Ask. Want to ride in the van to the new house? There's a seat. Changed the completion date? We'll do our best to move with it.

How long does a house removal in Bradford take?
A typical two-bedroom house within Bradford takes three to five hours door to door, including loading and unloading. Three-bedroom homes or moves with a lot of furniture may need two loads or a longer day. We'll give you a realistic estimate when you book.
Will everything fit in one van?
For a one- or two-bedroom property, usually yes. The long wheelbase Transit has around 11 cubic metres of usable space. For larger homes we either plan two runs (fine for local moves) or discuss a second van for the day.
Do you dismantle beds and wardrobes?
Yes. We bring tools and will take apart beds, flat-pack wardrobes and dining tables that won't fit through doors, then rebuild them at the new address.
Do I need to pack everything myself?
Boxes need to be packed and sealed before we arrive unless you've booked our packing service. Furniture and appliances are wrapped and protected by us on the day.
Are you insured?
We carry goods-in-transit and public liability cover. If you have particularly valuable or fragile items, tell us when booking so we can plan how best to protect them.
Can you move me on a weekend?
Yes, we work seven days a week, 8am to 8pm. Saturdays are our busiest day for house removals, so book early if you need a specific weekend date.
