Professional packing support for your move
If you'd prefer assistance preparing your belongings for transit, we can provide practical, hands-on support to ensure everything is properly organised and protected before the journey begins. Taking the time to prepare items correctly not only reduces the risk of damage but also allows for a smoother, more efficient loading and unloading process. Careful preparation helps maximise space within the van and keeps your items stable throughout transport.
We approach every job with attention to detail, making sure your possessions are handled with care from the very start. Most customers book packing for the day before their house removal, so you sleep in a packed house and moving day is purely loading and driving.
Full pack or just the tricky rooms
- Full house pack, every room, every cupboard, labelled by room
- Fragile-only pack, kitchen, glassware, ornaments, pictures and mirrors
- Kitchen pack, the room that takes longest and breaks most
- Wardrobe and clothing, hanging clothes moved on rails or in wardrobe boxes
- Unpacking at the new house, if you want to walk into a finished home
Materials are included in the price: double-walled boxes in mixed sizes, bubble wrap, packing paper, tape, wardrobe boxes and mattress covers. We'll estimate how many boxes your home needs when we quote so there are no surprises.
Packed by the people who load the van
There's a practical advantage to having the same person pack and load. We pack with the van in mind, uniform box sizes that stack, heavy boxes small, light boxes large, and fragile boxes marked so they go on top. It's the difference between a load that arrives exactly as it left and one that's shifted around every corner between Bradford and Leeds.
Where we offer packing
Packing is available with any removal in Bradford district and across West Yorkshire, Halifax, Keighley, Shipley and beyond. It's especially worth booking for long distance moves, where the load spends hours on the motorway and good packing really pays off.
Frequently asked questions: packing service
How long does packing a house take?
A two-bedroom house typically takes half a day for a full pack; a three-bed most of a day. Fragile-only or kitchen packs are usually two to three hours.
Do I need to buy boxes?
No. All materials are included and we bring more than we expect to need. Any unused boxes are taken away.
Can I pack some rooms myself to save money?
Of course. Many customers pack books, clothes and bedding themselves and book us for the kitchen and fragile items only.
Do you pack the day before or on moving day?
Usually the day before, so moving day is purely loading. For small flats we can pack and move on the same morning.
Will you unpack at the other end?
If you'd like. Unpacking is booked as extra time and we'll put things where you want them and take all the packaging away.
