Starbeck: what to know before moving day
Starbeck grew with the railway, which arrived in 1848; its station was the first to serve Harrogate. The crossings still shape the place. Close to the High Street are Pearl Street, Regent Place, Spa Street and Spa Terrace; further out, Forest Way, Fairways Avenue, Wentworth Drive and Moorland Road lead off Forest Lane. How the van gets to Starbeck
The A59 runs through as the High Street and Forest Lane Head at 30 mph, with Knaresborough to the east and Harrogate town centre to the west. From Bradford the route data comes up the A658, round the southern bypass and in on the A661, Wetherby Road, before turning up Forest Lane.
