How the van gets to Thorpe (Skipton)
From Skipton the B6265 takes you up the valley towards Grassington, and the lane into Thorpe arrives from the north, from the Linton side. Do not expect to cut through from the south: the fell is behind the hamlet, and OpenStreetMap shows only tracks and bridleways, such as Thorpe Fell Lane and Hippings Lane, heading that way.
The drive from Bradford is roughly 45 to 60 minutes. That is an estimate from route data, not a timed run, and traffic changes it.
