One urgent item from Skipton, driven direct
The van starts the day in Bradford, eighteen miles away, so a Skipton collection called in during the morning may still fit into that day when the diary allows. If it cannot, you are told on the phone, with the earliest realistic time, rather than left waiting. Say the latest the item can arrive, because a flexible deadline makes a same-day slot much more likely.
From Skipton the roads fan out: the A629 south to Keighley and Bradford, the A59 east to Harrogate or west to Clitheroe, and the A65 north-west to Settle and Kendal. The load space carries a length of worktop flat, a bike upright or a boxed item too big for a car, all strapped. Give the name of whoever will take it at the other end, so the handover is quick.

Same-Day Courier in Skipton: your questions
Can you collect in Skipton within two hours?
Not as a promise. It depends where the van is and what is already booked. You get a straight answer and a realistic time on the phone, and if today cannot work, you are offered the next free slot.
Do you work weekends?
Yes, every day from 8am to 8pm, subject to the diary. A Sunday run suits something that has to be in place before Monday morning, such as a desk for a new job or a bike left at the old house.
Can you deliver to the Dales villages?
Yes, Grassington, Malham, Settle and the rest. Give the drop address, how the van reaches the door and the name of the person who will take the item.
Can you move something I sold privately in Skipton today?
When the diary allows, yes. Send the item's size, both addresses and the time the buyer will be in, and you hear on the call whether today works or which slot is next.
