Stainland: what to know before moving day
The village is essentially one long street. Through the centre the B6112 is Westgate, Towngate and South Parade, with a 20 mph limit, and it narrows at pinch points where the buildings stand close. Much of the housing is in dense clusters on minor lanes at right angles to it, such as Bowling Green Road, High Street, Providence Hill and Drury Lane.
