The former Mountain Eagle Public House, a sandstone building of about 1850 to 1860 with rusticated quoins and a moulded eaves cornice, is Grade II listed and stands in the middle of the hamlet. A barn of 1818 south-west of Law Hill Farmhouse, with a dated keystone over its arched cart entry, is listed too. The Queen's Head pub is on Brighouse and Denholme Road.
