Linthwaite: what to know before moving day
The A62 Manchester Road is the village's front street, with the post office, shops and takeaways close to where Hoyle House Fold turns off. Behind it, Barber Row, Coldwell Street and Hollywell are living streets, and Chapel Hill, Causeway Side, Waingate and Stones Lane lead to more of the houses. Thornton & Ross, maker of Covonia and the biggest employer in the village, has its works here, close to the Colne Valley Business Park.

The schools are Linthwaite Ardron Memorial, Linthwaite Clough and Colne Valley High, and Blackmoorfoot Reservoir lies at the top of Gilroyd Lane. Living streets are shared spaces, so the van may need to stop at the end and carry.
How the van gets to Linthwaite
The A62 runs straight through, between Huddersfield and Slaithwaite, and the van comes in on it; Hoyle House Fold and Causeway Side are the main turnings off it. From Bradford the van reaches Huddersfield by the M62 and leaves along the A62 Manchester Road.
