Mytholmes: what to know before moving day
The streets here are mostly residential closes: Branwell Drive, Sedge Grove, The Hayfields, Ashmount Mews and South View all sit off Mytholmes Lane or close to it, and Haworth Primary School is a short walk away. Greenfield and Greenfield Terrace are the exception: OpenStreetMap maps part of Greenfield with a fine gravel surface, so if you live on it, say whether the van can come to the door or should stop on Mytholmes Lane.
Older buildings stand nearby. Cook Gate Farmhouse is a listed late 17th-century millstone grit house, with three steps up to its front door, and the mid 18th-century Manor House keeps its listed garden walls and gate piers. Steps and gate piers can narrow the way in as much as a door, so note them when you book. Murgatroyd Wood and the River Worth are a few hundred metres away.
How the van gets to Mytholmes
From Bradford the van comes out on the B6144 through Cullingworth and down Brow Top Road into Haworth, follows the B6142 along Bridgehouse Lane to Rawdon Road, and turns on to Mytholmes Lane after a few hundred metres. Lord Lane, which leaves Rawdon Road close by, is the road on towards Tim Lane and Oldfield.
