Horsfield: what to know before moving day
The Horsfield is the cricket ground: Colne Cricket Club, formed in 1830, the oldest club in the Lancashire League, still plays on the same field. How the van gets to Horsfield
Two main roads frame Horsfield. Skipton Road, the A56, heads north-east out of Colne towards Earby and Skipton, and Keighley Road, the A6068, leaves town the other way towards Laneshaw Bridge and Cowling, which is the road a Bradford van usually arrives on. Byron Road also carries the A6068 number, and Cotton Tree Lane, the B6250, runs towards Cotton Tree and Trawden.
