Fell Lane: what to know before moving day
Along Fell Lane itself OpenStreetMap tags well over a hundred houses, a little more than half of them terraced and most of the rest semi-detached. The side streets split the same way: Mannville Grove and Mannville Walk are nearly all terraces, Felbrigg Avenue and Sycamore View are mostly semis, and Westfell Way and St. John's Way include a good number of bungalows. Westfell Road, Raglan Street, Rishworth Street and Durrance Street are shorter streets close to the lane.
The 1st Keighley Fell Lane Scout Hut is on the lane, North Beck is close by, and Lund Park is a few minutes' walk away. Further out, Guard House and its barn are listed and probably date from 1791, and Intake Farmhouse and Cottage is a listed 17th-century group. In a terrace, measure the front door and the stair before booking a big sofa or a wardrobe that does not come apart.
How the van gets to Fell Lane
From Bradford the route data runs up the A650 to Keighley, along the A629 North Street and out on the B6143 Oakworth Road, then turns on to Fell Lane. Beyond the houses, Fell Lane leads on to Stell Hill and Holme House Lane, which is the way the route data takes the van to Goose Eye.
