Stanley: what to know before moving day
Stanley covers more ground than its name suggests: the main village, with Lane Ends often seen as its centre, plus Stanley Ferry, Lee Moor and part of the City Fields development; Bottom Boat is usually counted with it too. How the van gets to Stanley
The A642, Aberford Road, runs from Wakefield through Stanley to junction 30 of the M62, so from Bradford the van can take the M62 east to junction 30 and come south into the village. Neil Fox Way (A6194), the relief road opened in 2017, joins the A642 in Stanley from the Heath Common side. Lake Lock Road and Lee Moor Road are the roads to name inside the village.
