Guard House: what to know before moving day
Guard House itself and its barn are Grade II listed: a stone house with a pedimented central doorway, probably built in 1791, which with the barn was later used as a church and presbytery. Close by, Intake Farmhouse is a 17th-century stone farmhouse with a cottage added in 1705, and Intake Farm is still marked on the map beside the houses.
