Flush: what to know before moving day
With Millbridge next door, Flush is where Liversedge's woollen mills stood. The main road here is Westgate, the A638, which passes the large Flush Mills buildings on its way into Heckmondwike. Spen Beck runs through the low ground. The side streets run off Westgate and Union Street, among them Boundary Street, Wormald Street and Cornmill Lane, which heads towards Norristhorpe.
Heckmondwike's Market Place, health centre and library are further along the same road, and Algernon Firth Park and Heckmondwike Green are the nearest open spaces. Because Westgate is a busy through route, a van is better off in a side street than on the main road, so tell us the nearest corner where it can wait.

From Bradford, drive the M606 to Chain Bar and follow the A638 south. It runs through Cleckheaton and Littletown, meets the A62 at Millbridge, then becomes Westgate through Flush towards Heckmondwike's Market Place. Union Street and Boundary Street lead off it.
