From the Birstall IKEA to a Liversedge front room

Flat-pack from Birstall comes in long, heavy boxes: a wardrobe carcass or a bed frame can be well over two metres. The van's 3.4m floor takes them flat, and they come off at your end on a trolley. In a Flush terrace that means through the front door and straight into the room or up the stairs, so check the turn at the top before you buy the biggest size. Flat-pack is delivered boxed; building new furniture is not part of the job.

Furniture already built, such as a sideboard from a local seller or a dresser from Heckmondwike, travels wrapped in blankets and strapped to the side. A large house on Hightown Road is simpler if the van can pull onto a drive. Tell us about any steps, the floor the item is going to, and any doorway narrower than the item itself.

Before furniture arrives at a Liversedge address

Measure the item against the front door, the stairs and the room door
Have the IKEA order number and collection time ready if we are picking up
Clear a path from the door to the room so the trolley can run straight in
Say whether the van can reach a drive or must stop on the street
Existing beds or wardrobes can be dismantled and rebuilt if they are being moved too

What a Liversedge furniture delivery costs

The size of the items, the collection point and the carry into the house set the price. Liversedge is inside the core area, so the fixed figure carries no travel surcharge. See how we quote for the full breakdown.
