Can you get a fridge freezer down to a cellar kitchen?

Often yes, but it turns on the staircase, not the door. Cellar stairs in the older villas are narrow and turn sharply at the bottom. Send a photo looking down the flight and the width at the turn, and we will tell you before the day whether it goes or whether it stops in the hall.

The van cannot get up my drive. Is that a problem?

No, it just changes the time the job takes. We stop where the van can safely stand, usually the gate, and barrow the appliance in on a trolley with floor protection. Gravel slows it down more than distance does, so mention the surface when you book and we will allow for it.

Will you take the old washing machine away?

Yes, if you say so when booking. Isolate it first, water off and plug out, and we will disconnect it, carry it out and take it to a household waste recycling centre on the same visit. We do not do house clearances or general rubbish, only the appliance being replaced.
