Selby's growth has brought new housing estates to Thorpe Willoughby, as to Brayton and Barlby. How the van gets to Thorpe Willoughby
The Selby bypass runs along the southern side of Selby and joins the A63 at Thorpe Willoughby, and the old route into Selby is now the A1238 Leeds Road. From Bradford the van comes by the M62 and the A1(M) to junction 42, then east along the A63 through Monk Fryston and Hambleton. The drive is estimated at roughly 50 to 60 minutes.
