Painthorpe had its own primary school, which was proposed in 2018 to amalgamate with Kettlethorpe High School. How the van gets to Painthorpe
From Bradford, the M606 and the M62 east lead to the M1, and junction 39 at Durkar puts you on the A636. Hollin Lane or Blacker Lane then climb to Crigglestone, and Cliff Road leads onto Painthorpe Lane, which runs south-east through Painthorpe towards Hall Green and Stoney Lane.
