Ninelands: what to know before moving day
Ninelands Lane has the primary school, the Garforth Kids Club and one side of Glebelands, where Garforth Tigers play rugby league. The closes off it share their names with Yorkshire towns, among them Skipton Lane, Helmsley Row, Middleham Drive, Conisbrough Grove, Pickering Place and Sandal Court, and a neighbouring group uses river names: Thames Drive, Medway Avenue, Kennet Lane, Cherwell Croft, Derwent Avenue and Avon Drive.
OpenStreetMap maps Middleham Drive as a living street, a shared surface where people on foot and cars mix, so the van works slowly there. The Crusader pub and Garforth fire station are also on this side of town.
How the van gets to Ninelands
Ninelands Lane runs between Church Lane at one end and Bar Lane at the other. Bar Lane meets Aberford Road, the A642, which leads out to junction 47 of the M1; from the A63 side, Church Lane is the way across.
