Urgent loads out of South Kirkby to Wakefield, Doncaster or Leeds
From South Kirkby, Wakefield and Doncaster are each about 11 miles, and Leeds and Sheffield about 23. That puts the delivery leg in the range of half an hour to an hour, once the van has arrived. The item is the only thing on board, so there is no depot, no sorting and no second stop unless you ask for one.
The van starts in Bradford, so an urgent request is answered with a realistic collection time rather than a promise. Ring or message with the pick-up address, the drop and what the item is; if the diary has a gap, a time is given and the price is fixed there and then. A photo or a signature at the drop can be sent straight back. Firms on the business park or the Langthwaite estates who know a rush job is coming can also book a provisional slot ahead, which is easier to keep than a cold call on the morning itself, and the van can then be in South Kirkby when the part or stock is ready to go.
