Peacock: what to know before moving day
Peacock Avenue and Peacock Grove carry the name, and many of the streets around them are named after trees: Beech Avenue, Walnut Avenue and Walnut Crescent, Sycamore Avenue and Sycamore Grove, Maple Street, Rowan Court and Blackthorn Way. From Bradford the A650 comes past M1 junction 41 into Wakefield; Bradford Road, Balne Lane and Alverthorpe Road are the roads to name near the estate. Coming off the M1 at junction 40 instead, the A638 Dewsbury Road brings the van in from the south.
