What a same-day run from Beverley involves
The van comes over from Bradford, 65 miles along the M62 and the B1230 through Walkington, which takes 80 to 95 minutes. So a same-day job in Beverley is booked by phone, the time the van can reach you is agreed on the call, and it only goes ahead when the diary has room that day. The price is fixed before the van sets off, with that drive in it.
Once it is loaded, the roads out are straightforward. Hull is about 10 miles south on the A1079, York about 31 miles west on the same road, and Leeds about 56 miles by the B1230, the M62 and the M1. The van carries one customer's goods at a time, so the load goes straight from collection to drop, with the 3.4m load space for anything long, such as timber, shelving or a dining table.
