Three retail parks and the houses they deliver to
Riverside Retail Park sits by the Mersey, south of the centre, with DFS, ScS, JYSK, Sofa Superstore and the Sleep Haven bed shop. Junction Nine, two miles up Winwick Road, has Oak Furnitureland, NCF Living, Dreams, Bedworld and Dunelm. IKEA is further out at Gemini, on Europa Boulevard.
The other end is often harder than the shop. A solid oak dining table from Junction Nine fits a Great Sankey kitchen easily but has to turn through a narrow hall in a Latchford terrace, so the legs come off first. IKEA flat-pack goes into the room still boxed and unbuilt; only beds and furniture you already own are taken apart and put back together. Measure the stairs and the door frames before you buy anything tall.
Order numbers, measurements and stairs: before a Warrington delivery
- Have the order number and the collection point ready, as the big stores ask for both
- Measure stairs, door frames and landings for anything tall, such as a wardrobe or a bookcase
- Clear a space in the room where the boxes can be stacked
- Tell us if the item goes upstairs, and whether the stair turns
- Old furniture is not taken away; Warrington Borough Council collects bulky items from outside the house

Furniture Delivery in Warrington: your questions
Can you collect an IKEA order from Gemini?
Yes. Give the order details, and the boxes are collected at Gemini and carried into the room you name. New flat-pack is delivered boxed, not built.
Can a solid oak table from Junction Nine go into a Latchford terrace?
Usually, with the legs taken off. Send the size of the table and the width of your hall, and the way in is planned before the van leaves Bradford.
Will a wardrobe fit up a Latchford terrace stair?
Often only in pieces. A new flat-pack wardrobe goes up in its boxes, and a solid one may need its doors and top taken off.
