Measure before you buy, or at the very least before we load. A three-door wardrobe that walks up a Roundhay semi's staircase will not always turn on a Harehills landing, and a corner sofa that fits the lift in a South Bank mill conversion still needs that lift booked with the building manager. Can you collect an item I have already paid for in a Leeds store?

Yes. Send us the order number and whatever collection instructions the store gave you, and we'll do the rest. Loading bays, click-and-collect desks and goods-out doors are normal work for us, and you don't need to be there for the collection, only the delivery.

Will you take my old wardrobe away when you bring the new one?

Yes. The old one comes out as the new one goes in, on the same visit, so a Leeds terrace with one front door only gets blocked once. If you would rather keep it, we can shift it to a spare room, the garage or on to whoever is having it next. Say so when you book.

How do I know a sofa will get into a Leeds city-centre flat?

Measure the narrowest point, usually the flat door or the lift, and compare it with the sofa's height with the back off. Send a photo of both. We'll also ask the building manager about the loading bay, because in the centre the bays are short and enforced.
