Rotherway for the AMP, Sheffield Road for Templeborough
The two motorway exits split the trade side of town. The Advanced Manufacturing Park, with Rolls-Royce, McLaren Automotive, Boeing and the AMRC among its tenants, is reached from junction 33 by the A630 Rotherway and the B6066, and every road on it carries an engineer's name: Brunel Way, Telford Way, Whittle Way, Lanchester Way. Templeborough is the other way, on the A6178 Sheffield Road past Magna, where Centurion Business Park, Bradmarsh Business Park, Fullerton Road and the Rotherham Freight Terminal sit closest to junction 34.
North of the centre, the A633 Rawmarsh Road leads to Eastwood Trading Estate and the Stadium Way units at Parkgate, where a weekday morning drop misses the shoppers. Town-centre shops run to the market calendar. Effingham Street hosts the outdoor market on Monday, Friday and Saturday, and on Tuesdays a street market reaches Effingham Square and Howard Street, so a shop drop there sits best on a Wednesday or Thursday, when only the secondhand market and the Thursday bazaar trade.
What each Rotherham trade drop needs from you
- A contact at goods-in, the opening hours and the unit or building number for every address
- At the AMP, the road name as well as the company, since buildings sit on several engineer-named ways
- For Templeborough, whether the unit is off Sheffield Road or Fullerton Road, so the van comes off at the right roundabout
- Racking, conduit or display panels up to 3.4m long lie flat on the load floor
- The addresses you send to most, so each later run is priced quickly
- Goods on a pallet are carried only if the pallet is broken down and each item can be lifted by hand

Business & Trade Deliveries in Rotherham: your questions
Can we book regular runs between our sites?
Yes, each run booked separately when the diary allows, with its own fixed price. Keep the address list the same and quoting takes a moment.
Do you deliver onto the Advanced Manufacturing Park?
Yes. Give the company, the way it is on and the goods-in hours, and the arrival is booked inside them.
Can the van take a pallet?
Only if it is broken down and every item can be lifted by hand. There is no forklift or tail-lift on the van, so a whole pallet belongs with a haulier.
